Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

@Darken: I like it when stats like HP starts quite low like yours, I hate being over-whelmed right at the start. I think that's the first time i've seen RM2K3 DBS with characters not at the side. Go you!

What program was this made in? I never knew RPG Maker suported Muti-player. I'm on a promise to myself not to play anymore Indie games until I've finished the Play Something day ones. This can wait.

I completely agree with you Feldschlacht.
I think projects not turning out the way you imagined shouldn't stop people, I think it's stupid to give them up, it should motive you to get it right more than anything (though you should be careful of the remaking cycle). People who give up easy are fools, I know indie game making is a hobby, but you're just giving up everything you've worked so hard on.
Also, no one has an excuse not to back up their files, but when it does happen you can't blame them for giving up, just blame them for being stupid.
You can't stop people from giving up their project if they want, Since everyone is different adressing the problem is not going to do a thing. You just have to let people get on with it.

Can try to edit the charset yourself so they can go in that order.

Here a little Japanese generator made especially for VX that most people know about, it's incredibly simple to use. Its quite basic compared to Charas, but these suit VX instead of RM2K3 sprites.

Truth or Happiness?
If we can't live in a world that has both, that really sucks.
I think I value both really highly, this is such a tough question thats really getting me thinking, it really depends on the situation. If I was in a serious relationship in which my girlfriend/ wife has been cheating on me I would want the truth rather than live a total lie, even if I was happy.
I guess in that sense it's truth.
